Christian Eckes entered the 2024 NASCAR Truck Series season fresh off a win at Phoenix Raceway and cemented his victory ahead of the playoffs. On Saturday night, Eckes clinched the 2024 Truck Series regular season championship at Richmond Raceway. The driver of the No. 19 truck had a 50-point lead over Corey Heim at the start of the evening.
Eckes will now enter the 2024 NASCAR playoffs with a large lead over his non-home competitors. The McAnally-Hilgemann Racing driver earned 38 playoff points in the regular season by winning eight stages, three races and the regular season championship. Eckes finished outside the top 10 just once in the entire regular season.

Eckes now heads into the round of 10 with three races that suit his driving style. The Milwaukee Mile, Bristol Motor Speedway and Kansas Speedway are tracks he has either won at in the past or had great success at. Eckes’ quest for his first Truck Series title begins in two weeks, but for now he will be happy with winning the regular season title.
