- Villa Vie announces that its residential cruise ship Odyssey will set sail on September 9 or 10 after a three-month delay.
- Lanette Canen and Johan Bodin left their home in Hawaii in the spring to move to the ship.
- The couple said they were “very impressed” with Villa Vie Odyssey despite the delays – take a look inside.
Villa Vie Odyssey looks like any other cruise ship, complete with a modern pool deck, buffet, pickleball court and excited travelers.
However, the 509-cabin Villa Vie Residences ship does not operate conventional Caribbean or Alaska cruises.
Instead, the houseboat is preparing to embark on a never-ending journey that will see it circumnavigate the world every three and a half years, stopping in 147 countries and 425 destinations along the way – all while offering travelers the comfort of a traditional cruise ship.
