Lady Gaga has arrived.

The 38-year-old multi-talented actor closed the red carpet at the 2024 Venice Film Festival on September 4 for the premiere of Joker: Foil for Twowhere She plays Harley Quinn.

At the Italian event, where she walked the red carpet with her co-star Joaquin Phoenix, the film’s director Todd Phillips and her fiancé Michael Polansky, Gaga wore a suitably glamorous look. She rocked a voluminous black dress with a plunging neckline and huge skirt. The star of her outfit, however, was her glittery lace headpiece by Philip Treacy.

The lace piece covered Gaga’s eyes and ended in two points on top of her head for a dramatic effect. The singer also wore Tiffany & Co. jewelry and her favorite platform boots, which peeked out from under her dress as she lifted her skirt on the red carpet.

In the sequel to 2019 jokerIn “Bad Romance,” Gaga takes on the role of Harley, which has already been played by numerous other actresses (although mostly only as a voice), including Margot Robbie, Mia Sara, Kaley Cuoco and others. However, the “Bad Romance” singer makes the Joker: Foil for Two Harley Quinn is all her own.

“My version of Harley is mine and it is very authentic to this film and these characters, and I don’t want to give anything away from the film,” she said Access to Hollywood on the red carpet of her Gaga Chromatica Ball Performance and dance party on May 23. “I think this is really something you have to experience in the theater.”

“This movie has music, dancing and great actors,” she added. “I loved working with Joaquin, I loved working with (director) Todd (Phillips). What I can say is I’ve never done anything like this movie, so it’s all going to be totally new and really fun.”

Lady Gaga’s glamorous performance in Venice follows hot on the heels of her equally glamorous appearance at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in July, where she opened the opening ceremony with a performance of “Mon Truc en Plumes” in a full cabaret costume of feathers and glitter.

She took to the stage on the Seine in a full Dior Haute Couture outfit, with a black feather jacket over a black satin bustier and panties. The highlight of the fashion moment was the black and pink skirt embroidered with feathers and sequins. She also wore a Dior headpiece, gloves and shoes. Of course!

At the end of her performance, the Grammy winner ditched the skirt and unveiled a second look consisting of a black satin bustier by Dior and a slip with a white feather pompom that matched the cabaret atmosphere of the performance.
