Kacey Musgraves and Nickel Creek treated their fans to a live acoustic cover of SZA’s “Kill Bill” over the weekend – check out the footage below.

The country-pop singer kicked off the North American leg of her “Deeper Well” tour last week, where she is supported by Nickel Creek, Madi Diaz, Father John Misty and Lord Huron.

During her show at Boston’s TD Garden on Saturday (September 7), the singer delivered a rendition of SZA’s 2022 megahit “Kill Bill” featuring some acoustic instrumentals and vocals from her openers.

SZA released her own collection of reimagined versions of “Kill Bill” last year, including a vocal-only version, an instrumental version and a sped-up version.

She later performed an acoustic version before sharing a version of her collaborator Doja Cat’s song “Kiss Me More.”

Musgraves’ cover of “Kill Bill” isn’t the only hit she’s sung in recent weeks, either. She also performed a snippet of Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” as she kicked off the North American leg of her “Deeper Well” tour at the Bryce Jordan Center in Pennsylvania.

Before that, she was Sabrina Carpenter’s special guest at the Outside Lands Festival in August, where the couple gave an unforgettable performance of Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made For Walkin’.”

NME gave Musgraves’ new album, “Deeper Well,” three stars, describing it as an album that navigates “new beginnings” with “mixed results.”

It continues: “On her sixth album, the country crossover star tries to move on – but has to deal with musical and lyrical missteps along the way.”

The country star also visited Great Britain earlier this year and gave a show in London that NME praised as “a gripping hit.” The review added: “The country crossover star’s show in the capital breathes new life into her recent material.”
