Check out East Tennessee flooding and dam impacts

East Tennessee remains at risk of extreme and dangerous flooding after the remnants of Hurricane Helene swept through on Friday. Damage also includes downed power lines and trees.

The threat is not over, particularly in the Great Smoky Mountains and along the Nolichucky River, where a dam could fail under the pressure of flooding.
