Chappell Roan criticizes photographer at VMAs, drama unfolds as celebs arrive

The MTV Video Music Awards started off with a bang with Chappell Roan and a photographer getting into an angry exchange… with lots of F-bombs!
The singer, who has already made her overzealous fans sit up and take notice, verbally targeted the photographer as she and other celebrities entered the UBS Arena outside New York.
Chappell was about to pose for photos when someone in the crowd was heard yelling “Shut up,” and then something was heard about Chappell turning around.
She was showing the back of her dress at the time, but obviously heard the not-so-polite request from the line of photographers – and as we know, Chappell isn’t playing along. She turned her head and screamed: “Shut up!!!”
This seemed to silence everyone, as she continued posing for photos without further announcement.

Chappell just explained what happened with the photographer, telling Entertainment Tonight that she was very nervous and will not let someone yell at her without yelling back.
