CF Montréal faces New England Revolution in Massachusetts

FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts – CF Montréal sets sail for Massachusetts to face the New England Revolution in a midweek clash at Gillette Stadium this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. EDT (MLS Season Pass, BPM Sports, TSN 690).

With just six games left in the regular season, Laurent Courtois’s side picked up a 2-1 home win over Charlotte FC last Saturday, lifting the team to 12th place in the Eastern Conference with 30 points and just three points away from a playoff spot.

A 3-0 away defeat against Orlando saw New England slip to 15th place in the Eastern Conference with 27 points.

Montreal is looking to avenge a 5-0 loss to those same Revs on August 24. The Montrealers have an overall record of 13-16-3 (42 goals for, 51 against) against New England and a record of 5-8-1 (13 goals for, 22 against) against the Revolution in Massachusetts.

Goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois is chasing his 20th MLS victory. With his 19 wins, the homegrown player is just two behind Troy Perkins in second place in the Blue-white-blackGoalkeeper of the MLS era. Raheem Edwards needs just 34 minutes to reach the 10,000-minute mark in MLS.

CF Montréal concludes a crucial three-game week on Saturday with a match against Chicago Fire FC at Stade Saputo at 7:30 p.m. EDT (MLS Season Pass, BPM Sports, TSN 690).
