The second part of Ryan Murphy’s Monster The anthology series on Netflix tells the case of the Menendez brothers, who murdered their parents in their Beverly Hills home. When the couple went on trial, the story argued over whether they committed the crime because of years of abuse or whether they did it to inherit the family fortune.
Created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, the series captures the key events and people involved in the high-profile 1990s case. Both brothers were convicted of premeditated murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Read on to find out who was involved in Monster: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendez.
