Xena was cautious around strangers at first, but is now more relaxed around them. However, a slow introduction is necessary. Sender’s Market weekly ad and grocery specials through August 27th! Shop local and save!!

Posted by: thepinetree on 22.08.2024 08:25

Mountain Ranch, CA… In 1950, we started as a family business with Erich’s father and mother, August and Freida Sender, in a hundred-year-old adobe house. The Sender family lived upstairs, and the ground floor housed grocery stores, a butcher shop, a bar, and a small eatery called Opa’s Smokehouse. On Christmas morning of 1968, the old store was destroyed by fire. But in June of 1969, Sender’s Market, Inc. opened. Since then, there have been many changes, including remodeling, expansion, and the hiring of many new employees. That’s also when we added the truss factory and purchased Sender’s Market Ace Hardware in Valley Springs. Today, we’re still family owned and work hard to stock everything from pantry staples to power tools. Whether you have questions about the perfect cut of meat or the right color, our helpful, knowledgeable staff is here to help. Click on the images below to enlarge them.
