The WNBA playoffs are here and rookie Caitlin Clark will play her first postseason game with the Indiana Fever on Sunday when they take on the Connecticut Sun. Despite the fact that the Fever lost their final regular season game to the Washington Mystics on Thursday, there is still, well, a Fever on the team thanks to Clark’s record-breaking performances over the past few months and their first appearance in the WNBA postseason. The Fever will play the Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, kicking off at 3 p.m. on ABC. The game can be streamed after it ends with WNBA League Pass. The Indiana Fever vs. Connecticut Sun game kicks off today at 3:00 p.m. ET.

The Fever vs. Sun game will be broadcast on ABC.

The first round of the WNBA playoffs begins on Sunday, September 22nd. The playoffs are scheduled to run through October 18th if necessary.

There are eight confirmed teams in the 2024 WBNA playoffs, namely:

  • Minnesota Lynx (30-10)

  • Connecticut Sun (28-12)

  • Las Vegas Aces (27-13)

  • Seattle Storm (25-15)

  • Indiana Fever (20-20)

  • Phoenix Mercury (19-21)

While this season’s WNBA games will be broadcast on more than ten channels and streaming platforms, including Prime Video, ION and other national broadcasters, the playoffs will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and ESPN. Please note that they not will be broadcast on ESPN+.

The WNBA playoffs consist of eight teams; the participating teams are determined based on their results in the regular season. In the first round, the games are played in a best-of-three format. The semifinals and finals are played in a best-of-five format.
