Caitlin Clark continues to write her name in the history books.
The Indiana Fever prodigy set the WNBA record for most assists in a season on Friday night when she recorded her 317th assist of the season against the Las Vegas Aces, surpassing the record set last year by Alyssa Thomas (Connecticut Sun).
With less than five minutes left, the 22-year-old Clark threw an inbound pass to attacking Kelsey Mitchell, who rushed to the basket and sank a layup, earning her fifth assist of the night.
This happened just under two months after she set the single-game assists record (19) in a loss to the Dallas Wings.
At the end of August, she set the WNBA rookie record for most 3-point shots in a season.
Overall, she recorded six assists in the first half, but struggled on the field, hitting 0-of-5 and failing to score a single point.
