Caitlin Clark gives Americans a recommendation after liking Taylor Swift’s Harris promo post
Caitlin Clark issued an endorsement for Americans on Wednesday after liking Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Vice President Harris as a presidential candidate following their debate on Tuesday.
The Indiana Fever rookie player was asked about her social media activity before her game against the Las Vegas Aces.

“I think for myself, I have this great platform,” she said, according to USA Today. “I think the most important thing would be to encourage people to register to vote. I think this is the second time I’ve been able to vote in an election. That’s the most important thing I can do with the platform that I have – the same thing that Taylor did.”
“And I think continue to educate yourself about our candidates and the policies that they support. I think that’s the most important thing you can do. And that’s what I would recommend to every single person who has the opportunity to do in our country.”

Swift announced her support after Harris’ debate with former President Trump.
WNBA players have endorsed Democratic candidates for office. The Seattle Storm endorsed President Biden and his then-running candidate Harris in 2020.
Clark does not appear to fully support any political candidate.

Clark was born and played in Des Moines, Iowa, before turning pro and being drafted by the Fever. Trump won six electoral votes in Iowa, but Biden won the majority of the votes in Polk County, where Des Moines is located.
