Bumble is offering free weddings in Las Vegas to 50 couples who met through the app

Bumble is offering a special wedding deal to 50 couples who met through the app.

The popular dating app announced on its website that it would be offering free weddings “to celebrate 10 years of successful matches on Bumble.” To be among the 50 couples who will receive a free wedding in Las Vegas, couples from the U.S. must submit their stories of how they met on Bumble.

If selected, the couples’ weddings will be held at the iconic Little White Wedding Chapel in Nevada, with the chapel being “dyed yellow for the occasion” in honor of Bumble’s signature color.

In addition to the wedding, Bumble will also cover the flight costs for the couple and their witnesses to Las Vegas. Hotel accommodation for the entire group will also be covered.

If couples are selected, their weddings will take place on either June 2, 2024 or June 3, 2024, with the exact date chosen by Bumble. Hotel accommodation includes two nights for the couple and their two witnesses.

In addition to the Bumble-branded wedding, the prize includes a clergyman, wedding coordination, a bouquet of six roses and a matching boutonniere, a 10-minute photo shoot with a professional photographer, and additional decorations from Bumble.

Couples will receive a $1,000 Visa gift card to spend on wedding attire and hair and makeup products for the bride. Winners will also receive a gift box of Bumble merchandise.

Although the contest is for weddings, couples who met on Bumble and are already married can also enter, as the prize also offers couples the opportunity to renew their wedding vows at the Little White Wedding Chapel. The contest is currently underway and will run until April 30.

In a press release with PeopleAmy Ferris, vice president of global marketing at Bumble, expressed how excited the company is to honor couples who met through the dating app.

“We’re excited to bring our community together in a one-of-a-kind celebration this summer and continue to shine a spotlight on the beautiful connections being made every day on Bumble,” she said.

“It’s an honor to be a small part of every Bumble success story – whether it’s a great first date, a wedding, or anything in between,” Ferris continued. “Over the years, we’ve received thousands of thank you notes, comments, wedding invitations, and baby announcements, and that’s what inspires us every day.”

Over the years, numerous celebrities have held their wedding ceremonies at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Couples include Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddi Prince Jr., and Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, who later announced their divorce in September 2023.
