RUSTON, La. – The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs will look for a win on Sunday night when they face Grambling. The Bulldogs will look to rebound from a 2-0 loss to South Alabama on Thursday night.

Tech lost its home game against South Alabama 2-0 after South Alabama scored two early goals in the first half. The Bulldogs hit eight shots while South Alabama fired 10 total shots. However, Tech held the Jaguars to one shot in the second half.

First semester Maeva Costenaros Two shots in the first half failed to reach the goal. Defender Madita Ehrig and midfielder Valley Faingezicht had opportunities to put Tech on the scoreboard in the 14th and 73rd minutes of the game, but was unable to capitalize on the shots.

OVER GRAMBLING (2-2-1) (0-0-0, SWAC)
Grambling suffered a 3-1 loss at ULM on Thursday night. The Tigers scored on a penalty kick by Cindy Norfeles in the 17th minute, but ULM scored three unanswered goals. The Tigers fired seven shots against ULM, while the Warhawks fired ten shots in total.

THE SERIES
The Tigers and Bulldogs have faced each other 13 times since 2004, when Tech lost 6-0 to Grambling.

In last year’s matchup, Grambling defeated LA Tech for the first time in 15 years after a 2-1 win in Ruston. LA Tech had not lost to Grambling since 2008, when the Bulldogs lost 3-2 in overtime at Grambling.
