On Sunday, September 29, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Philadelphia Eagles with a kickoff at 1:00 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium. Sunday’s contest will serve as the team’s Crucial Catch game and support the NFL’s league-wide campaign to fight cancer and highlight the importance of early detection.

This season, the Buccaneers are including the entire Krewe team, inviting fans, players and partners to share who they are “raising the flag for,” giving everyone the opportunity to support loved ones who are impacted, both in the stadium and to spotlight and honor an event through a social media campaign. On Sunday, 30,000 fans will receive a custom mini-poster courtesy of Jabil to support the fight against cancer.

Throughout the afternoon, the team will honor numerous people affected by cancer, highlighted by a halftime performance by singer-songwriter Bianca Muniz, a three-time cancer survivor, along with Elana Gilbert, a world-renowned singer and songwriter currently living in Tampa in her battle with cancer . They are accompanied on site by family members, doctors, nurses and survivors, among others.

Continuing a 13-year tradition, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation will make a $40,000 donation to cancer research and patient services, bringing its total donation during the period to $550,000. These funds benefit the AdventHealth West Florida Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation and the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation.

Official Crucial Catch merchandise will be worn on the sidelines Sunday and can be purchased online and at the Buccaneers Team Store. The NFL donates 100% of its proceeds from Crucial Catch merchandise to the American Cancer Society to provide cancer screenings and resources to underserved communities.
