Coach Chris Brinkley has declared Brooklyn Nets point forward Ben Simmons to be 100% healthy – but is that true? The Nets big man has been known to struggle with physical injuries and mental health issues that have kept the Louisiana State University graduate off the court for most of the past few seasons. Most of the team’s fans were yearning for him to be traded at the first opportunity.

But is there any chance that he will actually bounce back this season, both literally and figuratively? Would it make sense to keep the Australian swingman if he looked like he used to? These are the questions that the hosts of the podcast “Locked on Nets”, Adam Armbrecht and Doug Norrie, examined in more detail in a recent episode of their show.

Check out the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about Simmons’ health and what it could mean for the Nets.
