Brad Pitt’s “calling is given free rein again” as he and Ines go public – expert

A body language expert said Newsweek that Brad Pitt’s “more boyish charm” was “let loose again” during his red carpet debut with girlfriend Ines de Ramon.

Pitt and de Ramon, a jewelry designer, were photographed on the red carpet of the 81st Venice Film Festival on Sunday. The couple have been together for about two years and this is said to be Pitt’s first major relationship after his split from Angelina Jolie. De Ramon was previously married to the Vampire Diaries Actor Paul Wesley.

The couple were also photographed together with George and Amal Clooney as they celebrated the first official screening of the actors’ film. WolvesIn the film, two crime-solving specialists are hired for the same job and things get out of control when they have to work together.

Looking at the photos from the red carpet, body language expert Judi James said: Newsweek: “Brad Pitt looks completely relaxed here, he no longer poses like one half of a Hollywood power couple, but simply like a guy who is having fun and enjoying himself with his girlfriend and his best buddy Clooney.

“He is already loved, but here he no longer seems so prejudiced. He seems relaxed and in charge and can let his more boyish charm run free again.

“Even his face looks incredibly boyish again and his body language with Clooney is pure bromance. The two play around on the red carpet like kids on the street, which leads to some inside jokes that create a very watchable synchronicity.”

Newsweek contacted a Pitt spokesperson via email on Monday for comment.

James also compared Pitt and de Ramon to the Clooneys, saying they had a similar “aura” but “hadn’t yet got the hang of all those fake ‘intimate’ posing moments where the Clooneys stand across from each other and stare at each other for the camera.”

She added: “Both Amal and Ines seem to have a non-acting presence here, smiling more in support than as co-stars to their men.”

James highlighted the casual poses of Pitt and George Clooney, pointing out that they each have one hand in their pocket.

“They both have their arms around their companion’s waist, but both have bright smiles on their faces that suggest they are energizing and motivating each other,” she said.

“Apart from their handshake, with Brad’s hand very firmly on top to indicate dominance, Brad and Ines seem to avoid any serious public displays of affection here, apart from a moment when their eyes meet and Ines looks at him lovingly. Brad, however, seems impressively tension-free here despite his family problems, and his raised eyebrows and wide grin suggest he’s having the most fun at his movie premiere.”

Pitt and Jolie both attended the Venice Film Festival this year, Pitt for Wolves and Jolie for her film MaryAlthough their paths have never crossed, Jolie has alluded to her ongoing divorce and legal disputes in press interviews.

Jolie was speaking at a press conference ahead of Thursday’s premiere of her film based on the life of opera singer Maria Callas, during which she was asked how she was related to the American-born Greek soprano.

“There is much I will not say in this room that you probably know and assume,” she said via People.

“I think the way I dealt with her may be a surprise – (it was) probably the part of her that is extremely gentle and there’s no room in the world for her to be as gentle as she really was and as emotionally open as she really was. I think I share her vulnerability more than anything else.”

Pitt and Jolie met in 2004 on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith and married on August 23, 2014. The former couple has three adopted and three biological children: Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax and twins Knox and Vivienne.

However, they split in 2016 after Jolie claimed in court documents that Pitt “choked one of the children and punched another in the face” during a flight the family took from France to Los Angeles that year. Jolie further claimed that Pitt “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her.” Following an FBI investigation into the alleged incidents, Pitt – who has denied all allegations – was neither arrested nor charged.

Nearly eight years after Jolie filed for divorce, the lengthy divorce is still ongoing as the actors battle over custody and finances, as well as a separate legal battle involving the French winery Château Miraval.
