It took Inside Out 2 just two days after its June 14 release to hit the $100 million mark. It then crossed the $200 million mark on day five, $300 million on day nine, $400 million on day 13, $500 million on day 21, and $600 million on day 40. As of this writing, the film is still playing in over 1,000 theaters across the country, so box office numbers for the fan-favorite animated film will continue to rise.

Inside Out 2 is Pixar’s 28th feature film to be released, and it’s also the company’s highest-grossing film of all time, both domestically and worldwide. The others in Pixar’s top four in U.S. grossing are Incredibles 2 (2018) with $608 million, Finding Dory (2016) with $486 million, and Toy Story 4 (2019) with $434 million. In case you’re wondering, the original Inside Out grossed $356 million domestically in 2015 – not too bad.
