It looks like there will be a lot of new names on the ballot in the city and school elections on November 5th.
The filing period for Montague County’s 10 November elections ended Monday, as some of the precincts were able to cancel their elections due to contested seats. Early voting by in-person begins Oct. 21.
If you are not yet registered to vote, the registration deadline is October 7. Forms are available on the Secretary of State’s website and must be submitted to your local voter registrar.
The local and school elections and the people who have applied are as follows:
