Blooded Horse Sale is accepting additional registrations

The Blooded Horse Sale is accepting additional entries for its 69th.th Annual Mixed Summer Auction on Tuesday, August 27th in Springfield, Ohio. The harness racing auction includes 139 black yearlings, followed by over 100 racehorses, racing prospects and breeding stock.

The yearlings include 76 from Ohio, 27 from Indiana, 7 from Kentucky or dual Kentucky eligibility, 9 from Ontario, 4 from New Jersey and 4 from Pennsylvania. They include 18 well-bred yearlings from Midland Acres, 11 from Dublin Valley Farm and 10 from Schwartz Stable, as well as a nice group from Spring Haven Farm, Ruddick Stables, Victory Hill Farm and Winbak Farm. The racehorses will follow the yearlings and include nine quality horses from Burke Racing Stable, seven from Hagerman Racing, eight from Tom Tetrick and three from

Rosy Weaver. Breeding animals round off the sale with attractive consignments from Spring Haven Farm, Ruddick Stables and Victory Hill Farm, among others.

Additional entries are being accepted now and will remain open through Saturday, August 24. Owners and trainers are encouraged to come by to shop and decide three days in advance if they wish to bring horses to the sale.
