Promoting tech talent in Birmingham
The goal of this collaboration is to focus on world-class training, mentoring and job placement for the next generation of technology workers.
With this new partnership, the three local companies aim to provide a pathway for aspiring software developers in the greater Birmingham area in three simple steps: train, mentor and deploy.
Training, supervising and deploying
Here is the idea:
- Train: Students begin with TrueCoders, an online coding bootcamp, where they learn the programming knowledge and skills they need to get started in software development.
- Mentor: ALLOY Digital, a local software development agency, will then mentor the TrueCoders students and guide them in important skills and the latest trends in the industry.
- Insert: Finally, DEPLOY, a Birmingham-based tech talent agency, will take the lead in matching skilled and vetted talent with top employers.
By integrating with TrueCoders’ training programs, DEPLOY ensures that graduates are job-ready and matched with the right employers based on their skills and career goals.
With mentoring support from ALLOY Digital, which serves several well-known clients at the state and federal level, the goal is to streamline the hiring process and reduce the time it takes graduates to enter the workforce.
