A new report revealed that President Biden feels abandoned by the Democratic Party after giving his all to Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.

According to the NBC News report on Monday, Biden has expressed to his allies a feeling that his accomplishments and legacy as president are being forgotten by the party, especially as Harris has sought to distance herself from her boss’s policies and her own forging a political identity after replacing him on the Democratic presidential ticket.

Those familiar with Biden’s feelings on the matter acknowledged that he still wants Harris to win and “that he plans to do everything he can to help her,” the report said .

An anonymous senior Harris campaign official said that Biden “just keeps saying to her, ‘The most important thing is that you win.'” The official added: “We need to tell people who she is and what she would do.”

They also noted, “There was no real interest in hearing about (Biden’s) accomplishments when he was running. That’s still the case.”

However, White House spokesman Andrew Bates dismissed these sources’ claims, telling the media: “These uninformed claims are the exact opposite of the truth.”

“President Biden welcomes the American people’s strong response to Vice President Harris’s leadership and policies that move us into the future, away from dangerous agendas of the past like MAGAnomics and abortion bans,” Bates added.

The spokesperson reiterated his denial of these claims, telling Fox News Digital that they were “not” true.

The sources said Biden understands the political reasons for moving away from his record, although they noted it still “frustrates him at times.”

He told co-hosts of “The View” last week that he was “confident” he could have beaten Trump and that he didn’t feel “overwhelming reluctance” from his fellow Democrats about his re-election efforts.
