Bengals vs Panthers 2024: Predict the outcome of the Week 4 NFL game

It’s been a brutal start to the season for the Cincinnati Bengals as they are currently 0-3. After another tough loss to the Washington Commanders on Monday night, their attention now turns to the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte.

With the Bengals dealing with injuries on defense, they’ll be hoping to bounce back and put together a more impressive defensive performance against a Panthers team that has had some issues on offense. Well, at least that was the case until former Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton took the reins last week.

For the Bengals on offense, they once again have one of the best receiver rooms in the NFL with the return of Tee Higgins and alongside Ja’Marr Chase. Add to that the plays from the running backs and tight ends, and the skill talent is there to provide serious momentum after this slow start.

After an impressive win in Las Vegas last Sunday, the Panthers enter the match at 1-2. With Dalton under center, the Panthers offense got going in both the passing and running games, but perhaps it was the defense that helped Carolina to the upset win over the Raiders.

To win, the Bengals defense needs to find some life while Joe Burrow and this offense need to continue to persevere. Nonetheless, this is the type of game this Bengals team needs to play if they want to prove to the fan base that this team can be a playoff contender.

Now we just have to wait and see.

Right now, Cincinnati is the favorite over the Panthers by 4.5 points. According to Pick Watch, the Bengals are receiving 92% of the predictions for this game in Week 5.
