Ben Affleck looked unfazed as he stepped out without his wedding ring on Tuesday – the same day his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce.
The “Air” actor was photographed walking through a parking garage to get to his office in Los Angeles.
Affleck kept his look casual, wearing a short-sleeved light gray T-shirt with a black lightning bolt logo in the center, blue jeans, and black and white Nike sneakers.
The 52-year-old Oscar winner also wore aviator sunglasses and a light brown watch, but conspicuously left his ring out.
Meanwhile, Lopez, 55, was spotted leaving a New York City apartment building wearing her 8.5-carat green diamond engagement ring from Affleck, even though she had just filed for divorce.
Page Six confirmed that J.Lo filed the court documents early Tuesday, the second anniversary of the estranged couple’s wedding ceremony in Georgia.
Lopez stated in her filing that their separation took place on April 26.
An insider later told People that Affleck showed “no interest” in saving the marriage, which is why the “Let’s Get Loud” singer decided to end it.
“She is very disappointed and sad, but Ben has given her no indication that he wants to continue their marriage. He has shown no commitment or interest in making their marriage work. It’s gotten to the point where she just has to take care of herself,” the source said.
The “Gigli” co-stars, who first met and got engaged in the early 2000s before reconciling in 2021, reportedly did not have a prenuptial agreement.
“They’ve put all the unfinished business from over 20 years ago behind them. They’ve seen things through to the end – and they now know for sure that they’re not built for the long haul,” a source previously told Page Six.
Affleck and Lopez have not yet released an official statement about their split, but sources recently told us that the couple and their families are “ready to move on.”
The “On the Floor” singer and the “Argo” star director first sparked divorce rumors in May when he did not attend the Met Gala with her and subsequently moved out of their shared home into a rental property in Brentwood, California.
In July, they finally listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million, and Lopez has since been spotted looking for a home in the LA area.
Both Lopez and Affleck have been photographed several times with and without wedding rings.
However, they did come together over the summer to celebrate their respective children’s milestones – including Affleck’s children’s graduations.
The rumor mill continued to swirl after Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday without Affleck in the Hamptons in July and she spent his 52nd birthday last week at a Bruno Mars concert in LA.
The couple celebrated their extravagant wedding in Georgia in August 2022 after tying the knot in Las Vegas in July of the same year.
