The first bet I made this week was on the Bears at -2 and then at -2.5. On Wednesday it reached the Bears -3 and hasn’t really moved. At first glance, how can Chicago be favored over the Rams? LA just beat mighty San Francisco and has a huge coaching and QB advantage in this game. The Bears rank last in the NFL in yards per game, and their only win was a lucky triumph over Tennessee when Will Levis literally gave the game away.

This pitch for the Rams reminds me of Week 2. In the opener against the Lions, the Rams drained the tank and lost in overtime. They traveled to Arizona completely battered and were beaten 41-10. They gave it their all against the 49ers and pulled out an improbable victory with seven minutes left.

By the way – the Rams have a big matchup next week against Sean McVay’s good friend Matt LaFleur.
