Beach volleyball publishes schedule for fall 2024

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane Beach Volleyball has announced its upcoming fall 2024 schedule. The Green Wave will compete in four tournaments during the season, two at home in New Orleans and two on the sand of Huntsville, Alabama.

Head coach Eyal Zimet is optimistic about the upcoming fall season and particularly emphasizes the commitment and synergy of this year’s team.

“We are excited to begin our journey for 2024-25 and announce our fall competition schedule!” said Zimet. “This year’s unique team has already trained hard, and the opportunity to further explore our partnerships, our chemistry and our new strengths on the sand in a competitive environment is invaluable to us.”

The Green Wave’s fall campaign begins on October 19 and 20 with a pairs tournament at Coconut Beach in New Orleans.

In their second appearance, the Green Wave will compete in the AVCA Collegiate Beach Championships on November 2-3 in Huntsville, Alabama, where they will compete as one of 41 teams from across the country.

The action continues November 15-17 when Tulane sends a pair back to Huntsville for the AVCA National Championships.

Finally, the Green Waves will host a pairs tournament at White Sands Beach in New Orleans on November 22 and 23 as their last appearance before the spring season.

Coach Zimet is looking forward to the fall outings and is ready to return to the field.

“I’m excited to see our team take full advantage of these fall opportunities and challenge themselves throughout the semester. To all of our supporters, see you in the sand this fall!” Zimet said.
