I’m a huge fan of crew cab trucks, especially ones that either didn’t exist or were extremely rare in the 1960s. There are a few manufacturers in the country that build C50 and C60 GM trucks. They start with a standard cab truck and convert everything to make it a crew cab truck. It’s a lot of work, but the people who do it well are really good at it. So when I saw this 1960 Ford that Solomon featured, I just had to share it.

This is a 1960 F850 that didn’t originally come in the crew cab configuration shown here. It was built from a couple of truck bodies and then the chassis was swapped out as well. So while it’s a cool ride, it certainly wasn’t an easy build. Here’s all the info from Solomon. Enjoy the video.

In this episode of What The Truck? we take a look at @Sergio_SECustom’s hand built 1960 Ford F850 Crew Cab. This truck originally had two single cabs, one of which was a fire truck. After 3 years here is the final result. A stunning F850 Crew Cab equipped with 24″ dual wheels. The truck rides on a 1999 Ram 3500 chassis with a 5.9L Cummins. #FordEra #WhatTruck #Cummins
