BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Banana Ball returns to Baton Rouge in 2025. This time, the Savannah Bananas’ biggest rivals, The Party Animals, will take the field at Alex Box Stadium instead.

The Savannah Bananas announced the 2025 Banana Ball World Tour schedule for their team and their three rivals on Thursday, October 3rd. The Party Animals will play at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge on Friday, August 8th and Saturday, August 8th. 9.

According to the company, fans who want to see The Party Animals in action can add themselves to the lottery list for a chance to purchase tickets. The lottery list ends November 1, 2024. Standard tickets start at $35.

The Party Animals team debuted in July 2020 to compete against the Savannah Bananas.

The Savannah Bananas played Alex Box Stadium in March during the 2024 Banana Ball World Tour.

According to the company, the Bananas play their version of baseball called Banana Ball, a fast-paced, action-packed style of baseball with rules that include banning flags, a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs, and stealing batters at first Base and a one-on-one tiebreaker showdown at the end of the game if it is a tie.
