Balloon Fiesta partners with local nonprofits to strengthen community ties

Six organizations are offering Balloon Fiesta guests the opportunity to learn more about their mission, vision and values ​​during the 52nd Balloon Fiesta^nd Event

Albuquerque, NM – The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, supported by ExxonMobil, is scheduled to launch October 5-13, 2024 and will partner with six New Mexico nonprofits and national entities for its 52nd edition^nd Event. These efforts underscore Balloon Fiesta’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility while enhancing the experience for event attendees.

Throughout the event, Balloon Fiesta attendees will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from the following organizations:

• New Mexico Make A Wish Foundation
• Friends of the NM Fisher House
• US Air Force Academy
• Habitat for Humanity by RV Care-A-Vanners
• Toys for toddlers
• City of Albuquerque Victim Assistance Alliance

Event guests are encouraged to visit these booths located at the south end of Main Street across from the Balloon Fiesta Souvenir Tent to learn more about each organization’s mission and how they can get involved. These collaborative efforts continue Balloon Fiesta’s ongoing efforts and provide an opportunity for organizations to share their mission with guests, thereby giving back to the community that has continued to support Balloon Fiesta for more than five decades.
