After a decent theatrical release, “Bad Newz” by Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk is now finally available as an OTT stream. Those who were unable to see the film in the cinema can now watch the comedy drama from the comfort of their own home. The film is currently available as an OTT streaming.
Bad Newz has reportedly grossed a total of Rs 66.28 crore. Anand Tiwari’s film will be streaming on Prime Video from September 13 and is perfect for a weekend binge.
Inspired by true events, Saloni Bagga (played by Triptii Dimri) discovers that she is expecting twins from two different fathers due to a rare biological phenomenon called heteropaternal superfecundation. The fathers, played by Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, are thrown into a maelstrom of competition as they fight for Saloni’s affections, leading to a series of hilarious and chaotic events. This unusual twist sets the stage for a comedic rivalry between the two men as they navigate the challenges of impending fatherhood in the most unconventional of ways.
The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari and presented by Prime Video in association with Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective. Bad Newz is a Leo Media Collective production and is directed by Anand Tiwari.
