STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern Athletics marketing team announced the promotional plan for Georgia Southern’s 2024 women’s soccer season Monday afternoon. All home games will feature a fun theme that will be enjoyable for fans of all ages!
The 2024 season begins with a doubleheader with the men’s team playing Wofford at 5 p.m. and the women’s game starting right after against Kennesaw State! It’s “Welcome Back Blue Out,” so come in your Georgia Southern Blue!
The Sun Belt Conference opening game is Sunday, September 22nd when the Eagles take on rival App State! Come to the “Party at the Pitch” and give away a white GATA t-shirt and the opportunity to color it at our tie-dye station! This is also our Youth Day where we recognize youth soccer teams from around the region!
We’re back on Friday, October 18th with more doubleheader action for our Oktoberfest! The women’s team will take on South Alabama at 5 p.m. and the men’s team will play Georgia State right after. Between the two games, we will honor Bo Pitts and his dedication to Georgia Southern football. Fans who arrive early will receive a free Oktoberfest stein, so grab your friends and come out for a great night of Eagle football!
