Arsenal vs PSG LIVE: Champions League updates as Bukayo Saka scores a free-kick after Kai Havertz’s opening goal

“I would do it 100 times” – PSG head coach Luis Enrique stands by his decision to sack Ousmane Dembele

Arsenal host Paris Saint-Germain at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening in the second game of the 2024/25 Champions League season.

The Gunners go into the game in good form and sit third in the Premier League, just a point off the top, although they fought to a 0-0 draw against Atalanta in Bergamo in the first game of the competition’s new format.

Mikel Arteta’s side face their first major European test, playing against French champions PSG, who are once again at the top of Ligue 1 after five wins in their first six games.

However, the Paris team also struggled in their first European game, needing an own goal in the 90th minute to get past Spanish side Girona at home.

Full time! Arsenal 2-0 PSG

90+4 mins: Calm, confident and calm. It’s the kind of performance Mikel Arteta wants to see from his players on a regular basis, especially in games like these against the French champions.

Arsenal always seemed to be the better team and goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka were more than enough to give them the three points.
