Arkansas State vs. Michigan Best Bets: Odds, expert predictions, player news and stats for Saturday afternoon

After the defeat against the Texas Longhorns, the Michigan Wolverines (1:1) want to strike back against the Arkansas State Sea Wolves (2:0) on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. in the Big House.

Three turnovers by the Wolverines combined with a statement play by Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers and Sherrone Moore’s club is what Arkansas State needs to get back on track in Ann Arbor.

Michigan will stick with Davis Warren at quarterback. The senior signal-caller was ineffective in the first two games of the season. He should be better positioned against the Red Wolves, whose defense ranks among the bottom ten in college football.

Expect a lot of ground and pound force should Warren show even the slightest wiggle as he tries to move the Wolverines down the field through the air. With the Big Ten season right around the corner, this has to be a good game for the Wolverines on both sides of the ball.

NBC Sports Bet Best Bet

Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) expects the Wolverines defense to bounce back on Saturday against the Red Wolves:
“I’m picking Arkansas State’s team total UNDER when they visit The Big House and the Michigan Wolverines. I know Michigan actually got torched by Quinn Ewers, who is now the Heisman favorite, and the Texas Longhorns, but I think the defense will look like it did in Week 1 when they held Fresno State to 10 points. I’m picking Arkansas State’s team total UNDER.”
