Arkansas State misses field goal, still 0-0

9:02 1Q: Arkansas State misses FG, still without points

Although Arkansas State missed the 42-yard field goal, it was not a good push for Michigan’s defense.

The Red Wolves were able to convert 3rd and 8, 3rd and 20 and 3rd and 15 attempts and the Wolverines were penalized for unnecessary roughness.

There is a lot to clean up at the moment.

Team honors Greg Harden

Many of the Wolverines honored the late Greg Harden, a former administrator and mental health coach for Michigan who recently passed away following complications from surgery.

Availability report

Beat writer Angelique Chengelis has today’s availability report:

After a poor performance against Texas last week, the Wolverines need to rebuild their confidence.

It is the first meeting between Michigan and Arkansas State, whose head coach is Butch Jones, a native of Saugatuck, Michigan.

Michigan kicker Dominic Zvada, who has made 5 of 5 field goals this season, will face his former team.
