The first statements are coming in following the shooting at Apalachee High School in Barrow County on Wednesday morning. Barrow County Sheriff Judd Smith confirmed that there are several victims, but did not provide any information on their condition.

The White House says President Joe Biden has been briefed on the situation by the Department of Homeland Security.
