Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant finally got married on July 12, 2024, and a Shubh Aashirwad ceremony was organized a day later, on July 13. The family is gearing up to host a reception today, July 14, but updates from the wedding day continue to storm social media.

The latest information concerns the food served to guests on the couple’s big day.

According to Bombay Times, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding menu consisted of more than 2500 dishes curated by none other than Nita Ambani herself. The wedding menu included Indian chaats, international dishes and some trending Instagram dishes too.

Is an Indian wedding complete without chaat? For Anant and Radhika’s wedding, there was a wide variety of special Varanasi chaats including Pani Puri, Dahi Bhalla, Plain Sohal, Bhalla Papdi, Chura Matar and more. Reportedly, Nita Ambani visited Varanasi’s Kaashi Chaat Bhandar and was so impressed with the flavors that she decided to take it home with her. Another highlight among the various chaats was Ratlam’s famous Garadu Chaat.

The versatility of coconut became apparent when an Indonesian company featured over 100 coconut-based dishes on its menu.

Exclusive vegetarian dishes

The Ambani family serves its guests a wide selection of exclusive and first-class vegetarian dishes from top chefs such as Virgilio Martínez and Avinash Martin.

Virgolio’s menu includes dishes such as cashew rolls, mountain chimichurri, smoked tomatoes, extreme altitude seeds, fresh cheese, Amazonian cassava textures, coconut milk, aji soda with saffron, and date and lentil triangles with pistachio tiger milk.

Avinash Martin serves traditional dishes from Goa and Portugal such as glazed king oyster mushroom xacuti, tender coconut carpaccio, jeeresal pancakes and caldin with asparagus and pine nuts.

Drinks included specialties such as Madras filter coffee, Rabri Lassi and Tiramisu with caviar.
