An oceanfront hotel in Myrtle Beach is for sale. Here’s the asking price

An oceanfront hotel and resort in Myrtle Beach is for sale less than six months after it was purchased.

The Indigo Tower, a 54-room hotel built in 1974, is for sale, according to a listing on LoopNet. The asking price is $7.4 million.

Liat Edri, the Realty One Group Dockside listing agent for the property, did not respond to a request for comment. According to Horry County Land Records, Indigo Hotel, LLC owns the property. According to the South Carolina Business Entities Online database, Daniel Harrar is the registered agent for Indigo Hotel, LLC. Harrar also did not respond to a request for comment prior to publication.

The hotel was listed on LoopNet on June 11, 2024, and sold for $3.9 million back in February 2024, according to Horry County Land Records. It’s not the only hotel in the area for sale. The 25-room Lily & Bloom hotel at 501 North Ocean Blvd. is also for sale for $2.59 million and has received multiple offers.

Other recently sold hotels are currently undergoing renovations. The Sandcastle Oceanfront Resort at the Pavilion is undergoing a $34 million renovation and will reopen in early 2025. The hotel will also be converted to the relaxed aesthetic Voco brand, a premium offering of the IHG Hotels & Resorts chain, which also includes Holiday Inn.
