A North Carolina man confidently predicted to win the Cash 5 lotto jackpot on August 20, winning a huge prize of $160,756 (Rs. 1,348,828). Cameron Vick was confident of his chances and purchased a $1 ticket from the North Carolina Education Lottery website. His faith paid off when he matched the winning numbers and received the sizable payout.

Mr. Vick, 37, told lottery officials that he told a man on his route that he was going to win the Cash 5 jackpot.

“I told him, ‘I’m going to win this one,'” he recalled.

“It was just a spontaneous decision,” he said. “I just decided to play out of the blue.”

Vick said he told one of his friends the big news after he won.

“He hugged me and started crying,” Vick said.

According to a Published by the North Carolina Education Lottery, “He picked up his prize at lottery headquarters on Monday and took home $114,941 after required federal and state taxes. Vick said he plans to use his winnings to make some repairs to his home.”

Cash 5 is one of six lottery games in North Carolina that gives players the option to purchase their tickets at a retail location or by playing online through the lottery’s website or using the official NC Lottery mobile app. Tuesday’s jackpot is $236,000. The odds of winning the Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 962,598.
