Ryan Murphy’s non-American horror story horror series: Grotesquerie

Effects grotesque revolves around a series of heinous crimes that have shaken a small community. Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash Betts) finds these crimes incredibly personal, as if someone – or something – is mocking her. At home, Lois struggles with a strained relationship with her daughter, a husband in long-term care, and her own inner demons. With no clues and unsure of who to turn to, she enlists the help of Nurse Megan (Micaela Diamond), a nun and journalist at the Catholic GuardianSister Megan, with her own difficult past, has seen the worst of humanity, but still believes in its ability to do good.
