Allegiant Air expands nonstop service from Syracuse to Myrtle Beach

The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) and Allegiant Air have announced that the airline will expand its popular seasonal nonstop service from Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) directly to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) next year. The twice-weekly service will begin on March 6, 2025 – nearly three months earlier than in previous years.

The flight will operate on Thursdays and Sundays and will take travelers from Syracuse to the Grand Strand in less than two hours. This new schedule is perfectly timed for golfers looking to tee off during Myrtle Beach’s spring golf season, which runs from March through May.

“We are very grateful to our partner Allegiant for recognizing and adapting to the demand for nonstop service to Myrtle Beach in the spring,” said Jason Terreri, Executive Director of SRAA. “Every year we see an increase in the number of people traveling to Myrtle Beach between March and May. This expansion of Allegiant’s nonstop schedule provides our travelers with a much more convenient way to do that quickly and easily.”
