“Agatha All Along” achieved an impressive viewership in its first week on Disney+.

According to internal Disney viewership data, the premiere episode of the Marvel TV series received 9.3 million views worldwide on Disney+ within the first seven days of its release. Disney defines a view as the total stream time divided by the run time.

While “Agatha All Along” is off to a relatively strong start, its viewership has already been surpassed by “The Acolyte,” whose premiere episode reached 11.1 million views within its first five days of streaming on Disney+.

After the “Star Wars” spin-off series racked up 4.8 million views on Disney+ on the streamer’s first day, “The Acolyte” was able to maintain its spot as the streamer’s most-watched series premiere of 2024 thanks to five-day viewership before it was ultimately canceled .

“Agatha All Along” also follows the “Bluey” special “The Sign,” which garnered 10.4 million global views in its first seven days of streaming on Disney+ in April. It became the most-watched Disney Junior title and the most-watched episode of the series on the platform ever.

The “WandaVision” spinoff, which stars Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke and Patti LuPone, dropped its first two episodes on Wednesday, September 18, with new episodes released on subsequent Wednesdays.

Debuting three years after Hahn’s MCU debut as Agatha Harkness in 2021’s “WandaVision,” “Agatha All Along” picks up with Agatha still trapped under Wanda’s spell despite Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza) and a mysterious Newcomer (Joe Locke) are determined to free them.

In addition to Hahn’s return as Agatha, the new Marvel TV series also sees the return of Debra Jo Rupp, who plays Sharon, Wanda and Vision’s neighbor “Mrs. Hart” in “WandaVision,” who joins Agatha’s circle. Emma Caulfield, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali and Amos Glick all return as Westview citizens in the spin-off series.
