Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones crossed the bridge from real life to X-life on Wednesday and was accosted by trolls dressed as Green Bay Packers fans.

“I love you too!” Jones replied to an X-user whose post was deleted.

Deleted or not, it’s 2024 and anything that hits the internet stays there forever. And thanks to a quick-witted Vikings fan, the original comment that prompted a response from Jones was posted on the Vikings subreddit.

It’s too vulgar to share the screenshot in this story, but the rant, full of swear words and grammatical errors, is 44 words long, and six of them are swear words. That’s an astonishing 13.6% swearing rate.

“(Expletive) you, Aaron Jones (Expletive). YOU,” the X-user wrote to Jones. “We hate you. The entire state of Wisconsin and every other state except Minnesota (Expletive) hates you. God I wish you the worst. I officially cancel (Expletive) you, Aaron Jones, son of a (Expletive) (Expletive).”

This is the opposite of Minnesota Nice.

Jones rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown and averaged 6.7 yards per carry in his Vikings debut last Sunday against the Giants. The 30-year-old running back spent the first seven years of his career with the Packers, and when the Vikings visit Lambeau Field in Week 4, he’ll get his first chance to show his former team he’s still in shape.
