A funny part that Ryan Reynolds still wishes he could have done in a Deadpool movie
From the moment it was announced, Deadpool and Wolverine became one of the most anticipated upcoming Marvel movies and quickly became the subject of a multitude of rumors. There was so much talk about potential Deadpool 3 Cameos where it was impossible to tell what was real and what wasn’t, and it seems like there was almost a plan to deal with that confusion surrounding the film’s release. And the end result would have been a wild part that Ryan Reynolds “still wishes” was in the film.
Considering how big a production like this is, keeping everything under wraps would be a difficult task. Of course, not all films are driven by the widely creative mind of a Ryan Reynolds. The actor recently joined Hot and explained that he had a plan to prevent it from spoiling Deadpool and Wolverine that was so secret that not even co-star Hugh Jackman knew about it. The idea was to produce a fake movie that was intentionally so bad that few would see it. And the rest of Reynolds’ plan would have included a huge surprise:
The original idea for this movie was to make a fake movie called Alpha Cop that was intentionally bad. I even had one of the posters made – it was about two guys who share a brain and together they form the ultimate cop. And the poster says, “Alpha Cop: Two cops, one brain. All things considered.”
On the one hand, you can see that it does not even tell anyone that you actually Deadpool and Wolverine would probably have kept people from getting too involved with the film. And if they had gone as far as creating marketing material and probably at least making a trailer, it would have seemed like this was just any movie. It is unclear whether this fictional film is the Ghostly lead or not.
This is an interesting idea, because it would not be the first time that it was suggested that a Ryan Reynolds film could have been more than it seemed. A few years ago there was a rumor that Reynolds’ film with Michael Bay, 6 Subsurface was actually a secret Thundercats Film. Of course it wasn’t, but if someone was curious about Alpha Cop and implied that it was something else, fans could have easily dismissed it since a similar situation had already occurred and been disproven.

In an Instagram Stories post, Reynolds says, “I still wish we could have done that.” Maybe we should take a closer look at all of Ryan Reynolds’ future films. They may not all be what they seem at first glance.
