Jeremy “JR” Robinson clarifies that he is neither married to nor cheating on Tamar Braxton, while the singer claims he “played in her face” with a “total bitch.” Braxton has since responded with her side of the story.

On Wednesday, Robinson clarified on social media that he is single after Tamar, who recently referred to him as her “husband,” attacked him in her InstaStory for alleged infidelity.
dieJasmineBRAND shared screenshots from Tamar’s account criticizing the attorney for allegedly dating a woman with the IG handle @whohatesjay, identified as Jailyn H.
According to Tamar, her former on-off boyfriend dated the 25-year-old “completely naughty” woman and “played with her” by accepting jewelry from her and taking her to the Turks and Caicos Islands.
“Paid (played) for a 25 year old right in front of me!! Shake head (took) my jewelry, took me to Turks and was a TOTAL BITCH the whole time I hate you @jeremyrobinsonceo.
Shortly after the story was published, Jailyn H refuted Tamar’s claims in the comment section of theJasmineBRAND’s Contribution to the saga.
“There is no tea here. There is no truth to this. These allegations are absolutely insane and have consequences. Tamar, you are WRONG! Period,” she wrote.
Jeremy “JR” Robinson responds to Tamar’s allegations and says he is single
After Jeremy “JR” Robinson got wind of Tamar’s allegations, he told his side of the story on Instagram.

In a 6-minute video, he explained that he had been single for six months.
“I’ll be very clear. I’ve been single for six months,” Robinson said. “We’ve been trying to figure out what that looks like, to close a chapter and figure out what it’s like to be friends again. I’ve been very specific about my boundaries, I’ve been very specific about our friendship.”
He continued:
“Go out with anyone you want. I will go out when I’m ready. I’m not emotionally available for you and I’m not physically available for you right now.”
He then confirmed that he had invited Tamar to Turks and Caicos for his birthday, as she had claimed, but only because he considered them “family” and not to reconcile them.
“Whatever you do, it’s because we’re friends and I’m still involved in my son’s life. I want you to continue to have a relationship with my children. But not to the extent that you make up stories that aren’t true.”
The lawyer added that he had traveled to New Orleans for a funeral, where there was a discrepancy with the credit card he used to book the room online. Robinson had accidentally used Tamar’s card for the room, but Tamar claimed that “some chick,” presumably Jailyn H, must have used it.
“I did not stay at the Four Seasons with anyone, I am not seeing anyone. I did not go on a date. None of that,” Robinson said. “I’m just saying that cooler heads did not prevail and before you know it, I’m on her story and being accused of things that are just blatantly not true. I have never fooled Tamar Braxton. I never will.”
He added:
“Where did this woman you called a bitch come from? Someone I was friends with on Instagram maybe three days ago? This is just an innuendo and I’m tired of having to stay quiet and not defend myself. Y’all, mental health is real and I understand anxiety can get the best of us sometimes but you don’t just go on social media and start attacking someone.”
In the caption of the video, he also noted, “Sometimes grace requires having to defend yourself.”
“I have always taken responsibility for my mistakes and been open about why they affected me and other people. I will not allow a false narrative to attack me, my family or the foundation I have worked so hard to protect. That is how I feel about the situation.”

Shortly after JR posted his video, Tamar went live on Instagram to tell her side of the story.
According to Tamar, she received a call saying that her ex had used her credit card to book a hotel room in New Orleans for him and “Miss J.”
“I called him and said, ‘Yo, you were at the Four Seasons this weekend?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah,’ and immediately he got mad.” (…) “When I asked him about it, you got mean to me and said, ‘Take your meds.'” I didn’t post it to be mean. I posted it because he told me, ‘Take your meds.’ and then I deleted it (from Instagram) because the girl really had nothing to do with it. She’s pretty, she’s young? And the truth is, they’re all pretty and young. And the truth is, they follow each other and comment on each other. So I just thought it was the lady, but it could have been four, five other bitches.”
She also clarified that she does not have a mental disorder.
“I’m behaving responsibly, I’m in therapy, I’m taking medication. I’m not having a nervous breakdown, in fact I’m very busy today. That’s it, it was just that my card was used for your date.”
After going live, she posted a snarky message on her InstaStory that read:
“Ok if I’m that mentally unstable then give me back my chain, pendant and platinum Rolex. I can’t have been in my right mind “friend” sir… the TRUE story on my channel in 30 minutes… I should’ve listened to ALL of you!!! I’m finally going to have all the (ninja emojis) because now apparently I’m a trick.”
In another video, she also stated that she was the one who ended their relationship, not him. Tamar also clarified that despite his treatment of Love & Hip Hop Tommy Lee.
“The relationship status between you and me has changed, just as my view of you has changed,” Tamar said. “I put too much stock in it because we were married and I take my vows seriously and I thought you did too. I married you after you ate someone’s whole ass sandwich. Don’t make it seem like I’m a bad person, like I put you through a lot. We showed each other grace.
“Yes, we were separated for six months and everything was sorted out on Friday.”
