Dollar Tree shoppers are snatching up the $1.25 lip balm – it’s 14 times cheaper than Sephora’s and “unbeatable”
If you’re looking for affordable cosmetics, Dollar Tree is the place to go for a lip essential.
The discounter sells the beauty must-have for just $1.25 – making it significantly cheaper than a comparable lip product at Sephora.
Dollar Tree has a lot to offer savvy shoppers, with shelves filled with knockoff beauty products, including a moisturizing lip gloss.
The retailer sells b·pure Lip Gloss for only $1.25.
The Lip Essential contains hyaluronic acid and “improves lip contour and adds shine,” says the product description.
The moisturizing gloss is available in two colors – a coral-colored fire quartz and a reddish garnet.
The gloss is a cheaper alternative to Sephora’s Kosasport LipFuel Lip Balm, which is available in three pink lip shades.
The product from Kosa is also made with hyaluronic acid and promises moisture and fullness.
Although both products deliver comparable results, Kosa’s gloss costs $18—more than 14 times more than the $1.25 b·pure product.
KISSES OF THE CHEF
Buyers rave about the cheaper alternative.
“This was one of my favorite products! Very moisturizing, beautiful colors. Can’t be beat, especially for the price,” raved one five-star reviewer.
“I love this product. It has really transformed my lips. It’s better and costs a fraction of the high-end brands. I hope I can get it at DT for a long time to come,” said a second.
A third buyer shared that the product does not feel sticky and leaves the lips moisturized.
“This wears well alone or over your favorite lip color. This is a great product and a great value!” they said.
Others liked that the product had no smell or taste and that the gloss was slightly tinted.
Some buyers complained about the smell or feeling of the product on their lips.
SMART SAVINGS
Dollar Tree is selling another lipstick staple at a bargain price.
A shopper found Stila Cosmetics at the discount store for only $1.25.
The popular brand has been selling beauty products since the 1990s, including face, lip and eye care products.
Dollar Tree Scammers
Savvy shoppers have scoured Dollar Tree to find imitations of their favorite products
Shoppers can typically only find the brand in stores like Ulta, Sephora and Macy’s – but at a much higher price.
“This might be my best makeup find at Dollar Tree ever,” the shopper exclaimed in an Instagram video.
The buyer discovered Beauty Boss lip gloss in the shade Elevator Pitch and two liquid lipsticks in Baci and Perla.
The products were listed for just $1.25 at Dollar Tree, but they retail for about $25.
“Run to Dollar Tree and see if you can find them!” the customer encouraged.
Plus, Dollar Tree shoppers are scrambling to get a “cute” Halloween decoration for $1.25—the same as Target’s but over 14 times cheaper.
Plus, Dollar Tree is selling a shoe basic for $1.25 – it’s identical to an Amazon product but eight times cheaper.
