It was a turbulent 12 hours for Jenn Tran. Moments after he left the stage following the live finale The Bachelorettethe lead actress of the 21st season learned that she had a place in Dancing with the stars.

“I walked off the stage, cried in my dressing room and then they said, ‘Okay, 45 minutes, you have to get on a plane. We’re doing it,'” said 26-year-old Jenn We weekly exclusively on Wednesday, September 4, following the announcement of the DWTS cast on Good morning, America.

Jenn’s partner, Sasha Farberalso learned that he would be appearing on the show late last night.

“I got a call early in the morning saying, ‘You have to get on a flight in 45 minutes,’ and I was flying to the airport. I didn’t have a ticket,” explained Farber, 40. “I didn’t even meet her. I saw her running to security. I thought, ‘That’s got to be Jenn, good, I have to be where she’s going.'”

Bachelor Nation watched Jenn’s dramatic finale on Tuesday, September 3. After sending home the runner-up Marcus Shobergshe told the moderator Jesse Palmer that she was planning to propose marriage Devin Strader. ABC then switched back to the live portion of the show and Jenn revealed that Devin, 28, had ended their engagement over the phone and completely blindsided Jenn with the way he handled the breakup.

“What I can’t understand is everything you did after you broke off our engagement and ended the engagement in a phone call,” she told Devin, getting angry when she revealed that he had followed his Bachelor Nation colleague Maria Georgas via Instagram the morning after their breakup. Jenn also noticed that Devin was out partying with his fellow Bachelorettes and promoting the show as if nothing had happened.

While Devin admitted that he knew “how much” his actions had “hurt” Jenn, he had a hard time taking responsibility for it, saying only that he let her know “unfortunately late” that his feelings had changed.

At the moment, Jenn is concentrating on her DWTS Journey — which also includes the competition against her former Bachelor, I’m Joey Graziadei.

“I think after a heartbreak, you know, I’ve been through so many of them and after a big one, I really just need a different direction in my life,” Jenn said Us about joining the cast. “And dancing is something I’ve always wanted to learn. So this new era is really just for me and I’m really excited about it.”
