George Clooney celebrates his new film Wolves and co-star and longtime friend Brad Pitt.
Clooney, 63, was asked to talk about his many experiences working with Pitt, 60, during the premiere of Wolves at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday.
“There’s nothing good about it,” he teased People with a shake of his head. “It’s all a disaster,” he added jokingly before getting to the serious part.
“It’s fun to work with people you know really well,” he finally added.
Both were accompanied on Sunday evening by their partners Amal Clooney and Pitt’s girlfriend Ines de Ramon.
The duo has starred in several other films together over the years, including ocean Trilogy, Burning after reading, And Confessions of a dangerous mind.
Clooney also reflected on his previous experiences working with Pitt.
“We have been friends for a long time,” said George CQ in a recent issue. “And it’s fun because we also visit each other from time to time, which is an important part of it. Things in life can be complicated and you always have to make sure everyone is OK.”
Pitt, meanwhile, added that his co-star was “probably the one who best understands and recognizes the chessboard and the possible moves.”
“I call George several times when things get bumpy,” he said.
