Actor Armie Hammer sells his beloved truck because he “can’t afford the gas prices”, Call Me By Your Name, Lone Ranger

Hollywood actor Armie Hammer, who recently returned to Los Angeles, has announced that he is selling his beloved truck due to rising gas prices. In an Instagram video, Hammer shared that he recently moved to Los Angeles and took his beloved truck on one final road trip to Carmax.

Armie began the video by saying, “I’ve been back in LA for a couple of weeks now. This is my truck. I bought it for myself as a Christmas present in 2017 because I’ve had pickup trucks for a long time and I loved this truck very much,” the disgraced actor said of the black vehicle seen in a Carmax parking lot.”

He added, “This is not an ad for Carmax. I’m selling my truck.”

The “Man from UNCLE” actor revealed the reason: “Since I’ve been back in LA, I’ve put $400 to $500 worth of gas on it and I can’t afford it anymore. I can’t afford the gas anymore. But you know what? It’s OK. I have a new car. It’s tiny. It’s a hybrid. I’m probably going to put about $10 a month on it per gas and that’s it.”

Armie Hammer, known for his roles in films such as “The Social Network,” “Call Me by Your Name” and “Lone Ranger,” has been out of the spotlight in recent years. His career took a significant downturn after allegations of abuse, inappropriate behavior and cannibalism emerged in 2021. These allegations led to the cancellation of several projects, including the film “The Offer,” in which he was set to play Al Pacino – a role that later went to “Whiplash” actor Miles Teller. As a result, Hammer has been unable to land new roles and has largely withdrawn from public life.
