Kamala Harris would end Georgia’s right to work

Vice President Kamala Harris is traveling through Georgia, so perhaps a local reporter could ask her about her promise to ban Right to Work nationwide.

Georgia has the Right to Work Act, and a federal ban on that law would endanger the state’s economy.

Harris wants to ban right-to-work laws that protect at least 162 million Americans in 26 states. Right-to-work laws allow workers to freely pursue employment without being forced to pay union dues to a union leader.

Harris said: “Ban right-to-work laws. This has to happen.”

Further evidence of their desire to ban right-to-work: their support of the PRO Act – legislation that bans right-to-work.

On July 25, Harris reiterated her promise to union bosses that if elected, she would impose the PRO Act on the American people. The bill would ban right-to-work laws — including right-to-work laws in the swing states of GA, WI, AZ, and NV.

Harris’ running mate Tim Walz, a left-leaning politician so keen on tax increases that he is squandering an $18 billion budget surplus just to raise taxes on the middle class, also frequently rails against “Right to Work.”

The PRO Act, introduced in the House as HR 20 and in the Senate as S. 567, is the Democratic Party’s handout to union bosses. Its lead sponsors are Congressman Bobby Scott (D-Virginia) and Senator Bernie Sanders (I, Vermont), and the bill has the support of nearly the entire Democratic caucus: 214 other Democrats in the House and 48 Democrats in the Senate are cosponsors of the bill.

Harris also co-signed the PRO Act during her time as the Senate’s most liberal member.

Another example of Harris calling for a ban on the Right-to-Work program can be found here.

The 26 right-to-work states are: Georgia, Florida, Wisconsin, Iowa, Arizona, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Texas, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Nevada, Oklahoma, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming , West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, Idaho, Utah and Kansas.
