Daniel Day-Lewis’ “best film” is “one of the best of the century” and you can stream it now

Considered one of the best films of the century, Daniel Day-Lewis’ “best movie” is a great choice if you’re looking for something to curl up on the couch and get lost in.

In the 2007 film, Day-Lewis plays Daniel Plainview, a silver miner turned oilman who embarks on a ruthless quest for wealth during the Southern California oil boom of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. There Will Be Blood was voted number one in Day-Lewis’ top 10 films, and for good reason.

The film has performed well with audiences on critics site Rotten Tomatoes, having been universally praised as a masterpiece by professional critics, and audiences have also rated the film as a must-see. With a whopping 91% from critics and 86% from film fans, the film ranks even higher in Day-Lewis’s body of work than his infamous Irish blockbuster In the Name of the Father.
